Links For Geeks! As I find good links that I think will be useful, I'll stick 'em here so everybody can use them. PLC's Online - Basic information on PLC's operation. If you're new to PLC's this is a great resource. If you're an advanced user, go poke through the message board and answer some newbies questions. Stepper Motor Theory and Practice - This is the best description of stepper motor theory that I've found on the web. QuickMath - Absolutely cool. Basically this is Mathmatica online. Solves complex equations, algebra problems, makes graphs. Check it out! PLC Open - Look here for the official specification on 1131-3 machine control standard for open PLC use. How Stuff Works - Kind of the Mr. Wizard site on all kinds of stuff. It's good to get ideas on how to explain technical stuff to non-technical people. TheLearningPit - PLC Simulators and Resources for Training. Mainly Allen-Bradley, but good info if you dig for it. kurzweilai.net - A major geek site that deals with topics like "Virtual Life" and other esoteric stuff. Fun to waste time in.
